Wexford Park
In our own neighborhood one of the best city parks is located at Sawmill and Westfield Rd. Amenities includes a large playground for toddlers and children 5-12 years old, tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball fields, ice skating rink, disc golf, trails in woods, seasonal restroom, and a reservable park shelter.

Stricker's Pond Conservation Park

This glacial kettle pond is an excellent place to view migrating waterfowl during spring and fall. The adjacent woods and restored prairie provide a diverse habitat for a variety of wildlife. Beautiful any time of the year. Just a block away from Tiedeman Pond Conservancy Area.

Wexford Prairie
Between Longmeadow Rd and Middleton St. is our own greenspace maintained by the Wexford Neighborhood. Includes a beautiful native prairie, picnic table, and grassy playing field.

This beautiful conservancy consists of upland oak savanna and low land wetland prairies. 3.3 mile loop of pedestrian and bicycle trails along with bird watching, and interpretative signage. A stunning place to go any time of year.
