    • In our own neighborhood one of the best city parks is located at Sawmill and Westfield Rd. Amenities includes a large playground for toddlers and children 5-12 years old, tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball fields, ice skating rink, disc golf, trails in woods, seasonal restroom, and a reservable park shelter.

  • Stricker's Pond Conservation Park

    • 7214 Longmeadow Road

    • This glacial kettle pond is an excellent place to view migrating waterfowl during spring and fall. The adjacent woods and restored prairie provide a diverse habitat for a variety of wildlife. Beautiful any time of the year.

      Waterfowl spotted in the area include blue-winged teal, great blue herons, wood ducks, green herons, mallard ducks, Canada geese, cattle egrets, black-crowned night herons and double-crested cormorants.

    • 0.8 miles of paved and dirt trails/sidewalk/quiet road on 30 acres in Middleton/Madison encircling the pond. Just a block away from Tiedeman Pond Conservancy Area.

  • Wexford Prairie

    • Between Longmeadow Rd and Middleton St. is our own greenspace maintained by the Wexford Neighborhood. Includes a beautiful native prairie, picnic table, and grassy playing field.

    • The neighborhood association maintains large green spaces that connect the entire neighborhood.

    • Within these green spaces you will enjoy 3.7 miles of asphalt paths which allow easy access from one end to the other of our neighorhood while avoiding roads.

Cone flowers, goldenrod, and bluestem are among the many plants that yield a harvest of ever changing color and texture throughout the year.

    • This beautiful conservancy consists of upland oak savanna and low land wetland prairies. 3.3 mile loop of pedestrian and bicycle trails along with bird watching, and interpretative signage. A stunning place to go any time of year.
